Educational visits of schools

The Folklore Museum of Orpheus, after a period of reconstruction, opened its doors and welcomed students of our island, in an effort of extroversion and dissemination of local history and folklore to new generations.

Since the beginning of February, tours have been given by the Curator of the Museum to primary school pupils of various educational institutions. More specifically, the children of the first and second class of the primary school of Vasiliki and the children of the KDAP Mellon visited the Museum accompanied by their teachers and learned a lot about Lefkadian culture, our history and traditions.

The Folklore Museum is a living part of the history of Lefkada and in the general context of Orpheus' cultural offer, it will continue to organize educational programs and mass tours for students and adults.
